Singapore Press Holdings, the publisher of The Straits Times newspaper, will be removed from local benchmark Straits Times Index. Index administrator FTSE Russell said the stock will be replaced by Mapletree Industrial Trust on June 22. This will be the third time in 12 months that a firm has been replaced by a real estate investment trust (REIT) on the index. The next review will be in September.
