Nusarasa consists of good friends, who played together on stage for a decade before deciding to take the leap in 2017 to form a 5-piece band. We are currently based in Kuala Lumpur.
A proverbial melting pot, Nusarasa's music is a fusion of our diverse backgrounds, drawing influences from Traditional Malay to Rock, and R&B to 60's classic.
"Mesra" is our debut single released in Ramadan 2020, amidst a nationwide pandemic quarantine. Composed based on our individual stories and personal journey, the song is a reflection of our ultimate reason for coming together: to spread the kaseh sayang, in the hopes that our listeners would do the same to everyone around them.
